Stunning job....did you end at the corner or in the middle?

Hi Crystal,
definitely start and finish along the side rather than the corner!

Hi, Molly. I've been going down this list of patterns and every time I come across one that I absolutely love, your name's on it. Please tell me you have a book so I can get more!

I'm a beginning sewer and found this tutorial on a site with a list of others and decided to give it a try. I made one tonight and it came out beautifully! Thank you so much for all of the detailed pictures and simple instructions. I plan on trying a few matching place mats after I finish my first set of napkins.

:)
Thanks!

Hello Molly,

This is the first time I've visited your site. Thanks for the homemade napkins pattern. I'm about to start my own project and am really exciting about it.

I made mine out of soft flannels. They stay on your lap and are soft and absorbent and wash beautifully.

Thank you so much for posting this tutorial. I JUST received my sewing machine and this is the first project I am going to try. Your pictures are very clear and your steps are easy to understand (for a newbie like myself). Great job!!!
