tnx for the tutorial - i loved it. the frogs are great and the material is so beautiful. i have one question though: i once got a pillow filled with buckwheat, and it was stored in my bedroom closet for about a month in the summer time. than we began to see many little bugs all over the bedroom, and it took us a few days to trace the source to the little pillow with the buckwheat! the little bugs hatched from the beans and ate the closet! i had to through many things and do a lot of cleaning. it was eerie.
how can it be avoided?

We just made some using plastic "beans" that they sell at a certain chain craft store where a famous "Martha" sells her crafty stuff. While natural fillers seem better, they can have issues with bugs and moisture. The fake beans are washable. So our cute little froggies could get wet if they needed to. Thanks for sharing your cute pattern and ideas. Always a source of inspiration for me and my turtle girls.

i just made a rabbit with one side "minky" fleece fabric - in an awesome spotted green. thank you so much for this pattern, it is fabulous and so satisfyingly easy!

Thank you so much for posting this; it makes me incredibly happy.

At my Grandmother's house, as a child, there was a bean-stuffed orange and white frog that always hung on the bed frame of the guest room bed. I remember playing with it often as a child and sleeping with it when I slept over. I can't say I know what happened to that little frog, but seeing this brings back sweet memories. These frogs are nearly identical to the frog from my childhood. ♥
