Free Pattern! Itty Bitty Nursery by Susan B. Anderson
Fans of Itty Bitty Hats and its new sequel, Itty Bitty Nursery, will love exploring author Susan B. Anderson's blog. Susan shares her knitting experiences, discoveries, and technique vlogs (video blogs); alongside tales of her current book tour and the knitters she encounters.
Her blog is really an extension of the warm, cheerful tone of the Itty Bitty books. Itty Bitty Nursery presents fun projects that are guaranteed to get lots of use. They range from practical hats, jackets, and sweaters, to darling nursery decorations like pillows, blankets, and even a knitted tea set!
Susan shares one of her cute patterns from Itty Bitty Nursery on her blog!
The Flower Pacifier Clip is a super simple knitting project that is as sweet as can be! We think it would make a very special baby shower gift, presented as a bouquet in two or three different colors, or as a single blossom to accompany one of Susan's pretty knitted jackets. The Flower Pacifier Clip is knit with Rowan's Handknit Cotton, a favorite among knitters for its bright colors, classic cotton softness, and playgroup-worthy durability.
You'll find a link to download this free pattern at the upper left corner of the page on Susan's blog. Further down the left column is a list of other free patterns. Thanks Susan!

I just want to add that a ton of the yarn I used in Itty Bitty Nursery I bought directly from purlsoho.com! For example, the flower pacifier is made in Rowan Handknit Cotton from Purl. What a great resource.
Have fun.

I have been knitting for 10 years - but started sewing in the past year and my knitting has taken a back seat.
With the economy, and my desire for more sewing supplies, over the past year I have been selling off some of my over 200 knitting pattern books - only keeping thoses that are truly near and dear to me.
Well, I was over at my friends house today and she had your itty-bitty hats book out - I thumbed through it and fell in love. So got home and looked on-line for it, and saw that you also have itty-bitty nursery knits - you are killing me!!!! I'm trying to purge, not acquire!!!
I think I am going to have to buy at least one - probably both!
and of course, love the chickens, too - so a free pattern for that would be delightful!
(thanks for the inspiration - love your stuff!
